neard-tools software package provides neard command-line tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install neard-tools
neard-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the neard-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep neard-tools *
You will get with neard-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
